Who don't love some nice popcorn am I right?! The perfect afternoon snack that can cure a bored mouth or an empty hand at the movies. These little puffer guys can actually do a lot more for you than you might think. Popcorn is often associated with squirt butter at the movie theater with an icey to wash it down. So know the difference. Don't put popcorn down! He's actually a good guy! 

Popcorn. Break it down to pop corn. What's corn? A vegetable! A whole grain! Popcorn is packed with fiber! It's a perfect snack because it's fiber content has the ability to satiate an empty stomach. Popcorn also improves brain functionality by improving your blood flow. They also help to curb cravings to keep yourself focused and uninterrupted when you're hitting the books. 


Recipes

 

Sweet 

2 tbsp unpopped popcorn

1/2 tbsp coconut oil

1 tbsp pb2 powder

1/2 tbsp maple syrup

1/4 bar dark chocolate 

cinnamon

Dress yo popcorn:

Make it how you like. Use some ingredients. Don't use others. Do watcha feel man!

Mix the pb2 with water OR maple syrup to get a nice liquid and drizzle it on top. Melt dark chocolate in a large sauce pan and drizzle on top. Put in it in the fridge for a couple minutes until chocolate hardens. 

Salty

2 tbsp unpopped popcorn

1/2 tbsp coconut oil

1 tbsp nutritional yeast

1 cup curly kale (optional)

Himalayan Pink Salt to taste

Dress yo popcorn:

After cooking popcorn with coconut oil, add the nutritional yeast and pink salt. Stir with a spoon. Add some crispy kale for an extra green boost and flavor :D
